      A calibrator used to inspect the length in the Japanese colonization period
    • Characteristics:
      In the early days, the measuring tapes were made of fabric; hence, they were also called fabric measuring tape. It would become inaccurate after being used for a long time. Therefore, inspection was necessary in order to confirm the tape could still meet the national standard, avoiding the chaos and disputes happening in the market. On the tape, there are the words "標準第一卷尺 (Standard Primary Measuring Tape)", of which the word "標準 (standard)" means this was the instrument used to inspect the measuring tapes submitted to the inspection institute.
