Used for measuring weight in the market

This is a platform scale also called a mechanical bench scale. Its working principle is the principle of leverage. The weight (gravity force) of the object acts on the base lever beneath its platform and then passes to the measuring lever of its upper part. With adding/reducing counter weights and moving the bob, the balance of the measuring lever can be reached, and the weight of the object can hence be determined.
