Common Metrology Unit Conversion

◆The “common metrology unit conversion APP” provides conversion of often used measurement units for the four items of length, volume, weight, and area.

◆In particular, a “Chinese historical measurement conversion” feature is added.  This allows the user to convert historical measurement units into commonly used modern ones.

◆This APP also provides short literary stories related to metrology so that users can obtain an understanding of conversions between ancient and modern units.  Examples include the conversion of Tao Yuanming’s “five pecks (dou) of rice” from the Eastern Jin period into liters.
